UNIQUE HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE, CANADIAN ROCKIES
Canadian Rockies
From the breathtaking glaciers, sharply pointed ice-peaked mountains, unusual gorges and
magnificent canyons, to the mysterious glow from emerald-colored lakes - the land once covered and
carved out by glaciers is truly a heaven on earth. Be captivated by Jasper National Park's
rugged beauty - this World Heritage Unesco site continuously surprise visitors with its vast
abundance of natural wildlife and picturesque landscapes. Located partly in the northwestern
tip of Banff and the southern end of Jasper National Park, and feeding eight major glaciers in
the region, the Columbia Icefield is the largest icefield south of Alaska. Take a snowcoach
ride on one of the glaciers for an awe-inspiring glimpse of ice crevasses and ice-fed streamlets.
As the "Jewel in the heart of the Canadian Rockies", Lake Louise is a site most photographed by
tourist to the region.
Southern Vancouver Island
Separated from the mainland by the Strait of Georgia, Vancouver Island is the second most populous
island in Canada. From the capital state of British Columbia - Victoria with it's world famous
Buchart Gardens, to the "City of Totems" - Duncan, with it's collection of more than 80 beautifully
carved and authentic totems poles, and Chemainus - a city with it's history displayed in a showcase
of the world's largest collection of outdoor murals, we will journey through the history and
culture of the Cowichan people as we traverse through this region known as the Cowichan Valley
nestled between the bustling cities of Victoria and Nanaimo. This unique area of Southern Vancouver
Island is increasingly recognized internationally for its charming communities, the local cuisine
scene and its overall ambiance and quality of life.
