Itinerary
Day 01: SINGAPORE – PERTH (Meals on board)
Depart Singapore for Perth. Arrive Perth, transfer to hotel by seat-in-coach. Overnight: Perth Hotel of your choice
Day 02: PERTH – SWAN VALLEY (B / - / D)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel by 10am. (You may like to pack an overnight bag and leave your heavy luggage with the hotel concierge). Free at leisure before making your way to the corner of Hay & Pier Street by 1pm for your pick up transfer to the Farm. Travelling out of Perth, we head to one of Western Australia’s finest agricultural regions, the Swan Valley. Passing by the historical town of Guildford, we stop for wine-tasting at the States oldest and best-known vineyard, Sandalford Wines. Founded in 1840, today they offer an extensive cellar and wine emporium gift store featuring stunning wine accessories and works by local artists. We then stop at the Swan Valley outlet of the Magaret River Chocolate Factory. Moving on, we will have a close up experience with native Australian animals at Caversham Wildlife Park, where you have the opportunity to feed kangaroos and take photos of the adorable koalas. Around 4pm, we will arrive at out farmstay, The River Retreat. After you have checked in, you will help to feed the animals and collect the eggs before enjoying an Aussie Barbeque Dinner. After dinner, enjoy a torchlight walk to the ‘Bush Camp’ where you can join in the fun of Billy-tea making and story telling around an open fire. (Evening program may be modified depending on the weather). Overnight: The River Retreat
Day 03: SWAN VALLEY – PERTH (B / L / - )
This Morning enjoy a hearty farm style breakfast before we feed the farm animals. You must check out of your room by 10am and then we will visit Edgecombe Produce Grower for farm grown fruit and wine tasting and in the harvest season, try grape picking (fruits available all year, grapes Dec-Mar only). We will then return to The River Retreat for Boomerang throwing or learn how to play the digereedoo or just browse in the art gallery & gift shop. You may even like to try your hands at Supa Golf (mini golf). Following lunch, join your personal guide for a short 30mins (500 metres) bushwalk to learn about the native plants and animals found in the area. Afterwards, you have free time to relax in the rural atmosphere, walk around the farm including the small lobby orchard or enjoy the riverbank area. Children also have the option to use up some energy in the playground or pool. At 2pm, you will be collected for your return trip to Perth, arriving approximately 2.45pm at your hotel. Overnight: Perth Hotel of your choice
Day 04: PERTH – FREMANTLE (B /- / - )
This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel for a tour of the city and Fremantle. The tour takes in all the major attractions, beginning with Kings Park botanical gardens, where you have time to experience a walk through the trees canopies on the Tree Top Walkway. Later, continue to Cottesloe Beach before arriving at historical Fremantle.
You may choose to part with the group for some extra time here in Fremantle, and make your own way back to Perth via public transport. Alternatively, stay on the coach returning to Perth by road travelling past the University of Western Australia, Royal Perth Yatch Club, the Old Swan Brewery, Barrack Street Jetty, the Bell Tower and finally the Perth Mint. Arrive back in Perth at approx. 12.30pm. The rest of day is free at your own leisure. Overnight: Hotel of your choice
Day 05: PERTH –SINGAPORE (B/Meals on board)
Free at leisure (check-out by 10am) until departure transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore. We hope you have had an enjoyable time with CTC Holidays!
